Before I forget them.. I wanted to share some of the things our witty little Kirby has said lately.

At the end of the school year, Mrs. Murphy stopped to tell me what Kirby had said to her that day. It was Field Day and she had asked Kirby if he wanted to race her. She said she intentionally let him win and at the end of the race, Kirby said.... "Mrs. Murphy...I know you are carrying around a lot of weight...and it's hard for you to run, but it's okay if you dont win everytime".. in his most caring voice.

Kirby- Mom, come tell Toby to let me have that game
Me- What game, Kirby?
Kirby- Well.... that's not really the point, now is it?

Nanny- Kirby, it's too bad Mom didn't have another baby so you could have a baby sister.
Kirby- ...Yeah, but I'd want it to be a boy instead so I could get a little rough with it.

Me- Kirby, do you want to go to White Water?
Kirby- Yes... and I want to float on the Lazy Liver all day!

House Update

The finishing touches are being put into the new house. We spent Saturday cleaning... again... in preperation for the floors guys this week. Surely it wont be long now.....?

Lights, lights and more lights.

I finally got a tin roof in the Master Bath, along with some tile and lights.

Maybe I should have cleaned these doors to the Den while I was there....?

The Dining Room... not quite finished yet.

The kitchen now has granite countertops, tile floor and backsplash, lights and appliances.

New House Update

Time for another house update...

New trim in the living room....

Cabinets are all installed...granite is supposed to go in on Tuesday!

The Den with its new glaze finish...

Bradley's gray bedroom...this is as close as this teenager is getting to a black bedroom.
